Canadian composer and electric guitarist, Tim Brady is a true creative force and his solo shows are not to be missed. He composes music for all genres and recently his energies have been focused on opera and ballet projects. He leads an ensemble named “Bradyworks” that tours widely, often specializing in music that involves an improvised component. Always attuned to popular music, one of Tim’s most famous pieces is a short orchestral work (originally written for cello and piano in 1994) titled Three or Four Days After the Death of Kurt Cobain. Tim’s visit to Kingston is co-sponsored by the Kingston Symphony and the KSA is presenting the Kingston premiere of Tim Brady’s Fourth Symphony on Sunday, February 1st at 2:30 pm at the Grand Theatre.
